About NTAHQ

The North Texas Association for Healthcare Quality is committed to excellence in healthcare through developing and promoting professional expertise in the art and science of healthcare quality — while providing opportunity for collaboration with area colleagues.

Our members are quality officers, patient safety leaders, infection preventionists, risk managers, and accreditation specialists across North Texas. Like our colleagues in other Texas healthcare associations, we believe in professional development through support, education, and collaboration: peer networking and mentorship, plain-language regulatory and standards alerts from CMS and The Joint Commission, discounted education, and a quarterly newsletter. Whether you are a healthcare quality professional, a healthcare safety professional, or a healthcare executive in Texas, NTAHQ is your professional community.

Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt Certification Training

Saturday, November 7, 2026

Presented by Leaning Towards Change, LLC, in partnership with Sisters in Public Health.

Our Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt (LSSYB) Certification Course will introduce you to practical, data-driven methods to:

  • Identify waste and inefficiencies in everyday processes.
  • Understand the root causes of problems instead of repeatedly treating symptoms.
  • Improve communication, collaboration, and teamwork.
  • Apply Lean Six Sigma tools to real-world challenges.
  • Support meaningful improvements in quality, efficiency, and service delivery.

Whether you work in public health, healthcare, administration, operations, or another industry, continuous improvement skills can help you make a difference.

You don't have to be a manager to be a change leader. You just need the knowledge, tools, and willingness to make things better.

People. Process. Purpose. Because processes may be the method, but people are the mission.
